Is Christ Your Saviour?
There are several reasons a person will claim to be a Christian. "I was raised in a Christian home", "I'm a good person", "I go to church", "I keep the Ten Commandments", "I've been baptized". These may be true, but the Bible is very specific about how you can know for sure that you will go to Heaven when you die.
Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Some think they have to "work harder" or "do better" for God to "let" them into Heaven. The Bible says that our problem is not "doing good" or being "good enough" - our problem is sin which makes us unrighteous in the eyes of God.
Romans 6:23a: "For the wages of sin is death..." This "death" is suffering eternity in Hell because we reject what God has provided for us - a sacrifice for your sin - Jesus Christ. God is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)." Romans 6:23b: "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus paid the penalty for your sin when He died upon the cross and God, through that sacrifice, offers us the gift of eternal life. You cannot earn it, nor do you deserve it, it is a gift from God to you.
Romans 10:13: "For whosoever shall call upon the name o f the Lord shall be saved." You must accept His gift of eternal life by calling upon Jesus and inviting Him into your heart. Turn from your sin and toward His Salvation, trust Him and receive His gift of eternal life. It is real.
1 John 5:11: "And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." It is not good works, it is not in baptism, according to God, it is in Jesus Christ. Don't wait...trust Christ today.

Looking forward to tomorrow - Father's Day. I can't get over the joy it is that God allows me to be a father to 4 wonderful girls! What a blessing and a wonderful comfort it is to know that God is our Heavenly Father - He is not sitting up in Heaven with a club waiting to beat us - He is there with His love wanting to guide us. He loves us so much! Thank your father tomorrow.
We will be leaving for Jr. Camp monday morning at 6:30! Looking forward to a great week of God speaking to the hearts of our young campers! Pray for us - it will be a long and hot week...
Lord bless
